Materia Medica Lesson 6-13: Drosera, Sundew

 Good for dry respiratory membranes with hacking cough - especially good for smoke and irritation from inhaling synthetics. Stimulates mucus/protective secretions. Dry air with wood smoke, too. Good with mullein, because mullein is anti-spasmodic.

DROSERA (Sundew) HERB. Tincture [Fresh Plant, 1:2], 5-15 drops to 4X a day. STATUS : W/LA

DROSERA 

Onset of head cold, dry with irritative cough. Subacute head cold with hoarseness or laryngitis. As a gargle in acute pharyngitis. Extrinsic asthma with dry spastic cough. Spasmodic asthma with constriction of chest. Acute spasmodic cough with paroxysms, laryngeal reflex. Hemoptysis from fits of coughing. Cough in infants, with spasms, in measles, whooping cough
