Materia Medica Lesson 6-9: Curcuma Longa, Turmeric, Curcumins

 Turmeric stimulates digestive secretion and blood supply to gut. Curcumin extract is useful for chronic inflammation.

CURCUMA (Turmeric) ROOT. Tincture [1:5, 50% alcohol], 10-30 drops. 1 teaspoon of powder suspended in water. Colors mouth a disturbing yellow. Standardized 95% curcumin, 2-4 capsules a day. STATUS : C
