SPIGELIA, STYRAX, SWERTIA RADIATA, SYMPHYTUM LEAF and TANACETUM

 From SPECIFIC INDICATIONS FOR HERBS IN GENERAL USE Third edition Michael Moore:

SPIGELIA, indian pink

Worms, lumbricoid. 


STYRAX, storax or snowball

Chronic dry unproductive bronchial cough. 


SWERTIA RADIATA, elkweed

Anorexia nervosa after GI infections. Chronic anorexia with simple dyspepsia. Chronic catarrhal dyspepsia with constipation. Nausea before eating. Diabetes/hyperglycemia - functional hyperglycemia, especially before meals (as a bitter shortly before eating).


SYMPHYTUM LEAF, borage

Ulcers, general for pain, in place of antacids. Emollient for skin. Fissures, general orificial (external). Skin ulcers with faulty circulation (externally, fresh leaves juiced, one a day). Acute vaginitis (sitz bath). 


TANACETUM, tansy

Dyspepsia with flatulence.
