Here is a cool old promotional for Burdock Blood Bitters. They published an almanac to advertise their product. This is a real glimpse into 1887, full of personal testimonials about how their Bitters cured Scrofula, Bad Blood and General Nervous Debility. This is exactly the type of publication outlawed by the Pure Food and Drug Act.
