Class Notes from Lesson 8-1 Constitutional

Herbal diuretics wont work well for really high blood pressure. Use herbs at 160 systolic. If systolic above 170, use meds first. Herbs works by altering osmolarity.

Diuretics Arctium, Taraxacum, Tribulus, Vinca

Dandelion or burdock work best as sodium leachers.

Discussion on avoiding eating out if you have high blood pressure, because of al the hidden sodium.

Discussion on linden. He says the Mexican Linden is much more effective. But, he isn't sure how good it is for blood pressure. Must be very fresh. Seed pods are sedative. Good for skeletal muscle relaxation as well.
