Celebrate Hildegard's Feast Day!

Today is the day that Catholics remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Saint Hildegard of Bingen. However, you certainly do not have to be Catholic to be fascinated by this amazing woman! Saint Hildegard, born in 1098, was a mystic/visionary from childhood. She became an abbess, a horticulturalist, an herbalist and physician, teacher, artist, author, philosopher, musician and composer of a very large volume of Church music. She is considered to be the founder of Scientific Natural History in Germany.  I just got this email from a the "Healthy Hildegard" company. I think y'all will really enjoy reading abut her gardens, dietary recommendations, herbal remedies and philosophy of living in harmony with nature. It is not overly religious in tone, so should be of no offense regardless one's beliefs.
