Class Notes from Lesson 6-7 Constitutional

 Lesson 6-7: Standardized extracts

Basically herbal preparations made using pharmaceutical/laboratory techniques, usually in Asian labs.

Ginkgo better as standardized extract. Tincture and tea cause headache.

Coleus Forskohlii is better as standardized extract.

Ginseng stem and leaf can be more potent in ginsenocides than root. Ginseng can be coppiced!
