Materia Medica Lesson 6-1: Cnicus benedictus, blessed thistle

 So, after a typically offensive atheistic and historically inaccurate rant, we finally get to the herb. Use fresh or recently dried plant. Good for inducing milk. Bitter. Also diaphoretic. Nice... sat through 15 minutes of falsehood, illogical conspiracy theories and insults to learn what could be summed up in one minute.... maybe I sat through this one so you don't have to?

CNICUS BENEDICTUS (Blessed or Holy Thistle) FLOWERING HERB. Cold Infusion, 4-6 ounces. Tincture [Fresh Herb, 1:2, Dry Herb, 1:5, 60% alcohol] 20-40 drops in hot water, both to 3X a day. STATUS : W/C
