Materia Medica Lesson 6-2: Cola (Cola Nut)

Yes, as we all know by now, MM liked cocaine, methamphetamine and any speed he could get his hands on, including Kola Nut.... and probably burned out his kidneys using them. As a useful herb, it increases muscle efficiency - increases the amount of work a muscle can perform. Increases energy. ... gives me a terrible headache, makes me jittery and irritable.

COLA NITIDA (Kola Nut) SEED. Strong Decoction, 2-6 ounces, to 4X a day. STATUS : W/C

Mate is better for concentration and mental endurance.... long drives, paperwork, etc.... it is caffeine. I like caffeine in moderation... like 3 cups of coffee or a handful of chocolate coffered espresso beans... good stuff! Harris Teeter has big bins of nuts and dried fruit, etc. I make a mix of dark chocolate covered coffee beans some almonds, cashews and seeds, some salted, some some raw, some smoked, some dried coconut and chocolate covered cranberries, dried cherries and raisins, maybe apricots.... and I'm good to go in every way!

ILEX PARAGUAENSIS (Yerba Mate) LEAVES. A simple infusion as needed. A CAFFEINE PLANT STATUS : C
