Materia Medica Lesson 7-10: Ginko Biloba

 MM says to use standardized extract. Tincture causes headache. I used to smoke it in a blend before a test.. with guto kola and ma huang.... like when I was 18-19.... seemed to help. With rotin and quercetin helps with impotence. Also helps with cochlear deafness and macular degeneration.

A lot of this is repeated info.

MM says bayberry, prickly ash and ginko are good for forgetfulness/senility

GINKGO BILOBA (Maidenhair Tree) LEAVES.Standard Infusion, 2-4 ounces. Tincture [1:5, 60% alcohol] 30- 60 drops to 3X a day. STANDARDIZED EXTRACT: 50-200 mg a day. STATUS : W/C

GINKGO 

Arteriosclerosis. Dizziness in aged with arteriosclerosis, "cerebral anemia". Cerebral vasodilator to increase site glucose availability, as opposed to real increase in serum glucose.
