Seems MM is mainly talking about white pine. We have tons of pines in the South. White, loblolly and long leaf are most common here. He uses white pine bark tincture. It is expectorant. Tea or tincture works. Astringent and antiseptic. Makes a good cough syrup. Needle tea is diuretic and tonic when made from young, fresh needles - new growth. High in vit C and A. He also recommends pinyon pine.... followed by more classist jackassery.
