Class Notes from Lesson 6-5 Constitutional

 Lesson 6-5: Mother's Cordial/Mitchella tonic, birthing

Mitchella is "Squaw Vine". I cannot figure out the next ingredient. It sounds like he is saying "elonius root or camalarium". I can't find anything that is spelled similarly. Next is cramp bark viburnum. Blue Cohosh

So I found what appears to be the same or a similar formula:

Ingredients: Mitchella repens (Partridge berry), Chamaelirium luteum (False unicorn), Caulophyllum thalictroides (Blue cohosh), Viburnum opulus (Cramp bark), in a base of filtered water, honey, 10-15% alcohol. https://wellbeinggps.com/products/mothers-cordial-elixir

Mitchella is good uterine tonic. This stuff grows all over the place where I live. I'll plan to gather some, dry it the right way and offer it for sale next year.

Use few herbs for briefer periods during pregnancy. Even raspberry leave can cause miscarriage if taken too much for too long.
