Class Notes from Lesson 9-6 Constitutional

 Lesson 9-6: Patient discussion

MM starts with mineral supplement recommendations. Patient should have breakfast each morning, at least a full fat yoghurt, with almonds if possible. Will need a bitter tonic. Upper GI, Kidney and Cardiovascular deficient. Functional stimulant - panax ginseng and cayenne or cardamom. Withania as adaptogen. Licorice for kidney deficiency and dry skin. 30 drops ginseng/cardamom tincture, 30 drops licorice tincture. Fish oil, magnesium, chromium, selenium, zinc and COQ10 for cardiovascular deficiency.

After a few weeks of supplements, balancing, re-asses to look for more serious, long term, chronic problems. Treat nutrition first. Don't throw everything at him at once.

He believe the inflammation is caused by conenose insect bites.

Maybe rosemary tea, maybe an aspirin a day.

Eventually, he will need to back off the beer - he usually drinks a 6 pack a night, more than half his calories. He'll need some milk thistle and anti-inflammatories.
